AUSTRALIA   1st DEC  2016

In a surprising move, the Queensland Parliament today came a step closer towards introducing the world’s most dangerous and radical abortion legislation.

Australian Christian Lobby Queensland Director, Wendy Francis, said the Parliament made a technical, procedural vote that combined two separate pieces of abortion legislation into one, providing a massive threat to the unborn and to women’s health.

“If passed, this extreme abortion bill from Cairns Independent MP Rob Pyne will remove all safeguards currently in place to protect women from coercion and dangerous practices, ” Ms Francis said.

Ms Francis said Queenslanders expected both major parties to stick to their pre-election commitment not to tinker with abortion laws during this term of government.

“Out of principle the major parties should reject this bill because it was against their election commitment and it is being processed through parliament in a covert manner, ” Ms Francis said.

“The major parties should be under no obligation to support this bill which ignores community concerns and has been rejected by a parliamentary committee.

“Queenslanders are sick of politicians not keeping promises, particularly on such an important issue where the welfare of women and babies is a stake.

“Queenslanders, who are overwhelming opposed to late term abortions and recognise that abortion is harmful for women will feel extremely let down if the major parties allow this bill to be given time to be debated, ” Ms Francis said.

“It would be seen by Queenslanders as incredibly arrogant for the Parliament to rush through legislation which, according to the advice it has received, has significant flaws and places women with unwanted pregnancies in danger."

Mr Pyne’s bill allows women to perform abortions on themselves, without any support or counselling.

The bill removes safeguards that ensure abortion is genuinely the woman’s choice and not the result of coercion.

It allows for sex-selective abortions and will see viable babies being aborted late in a pregnancy.

“Voters have rejected Mr Pyne’s abortion-to-birth bills and have expressed deep concern with abortion, ” Ms Francis said.

A Galaxy Poll, conducted in May, showed 84 per cent of Queenslanders believed abortion was harmful for women with the percentage rising to 90 per cent among younger voters aged 18-34 years.

France bans positive Down syndrome video because it may ‘disturb’ post-abortive women

For World Down Syndrome Day in 2014, Italian Down syndrome advocacy organization CoorDown released a video titled 'Dear Future Mom '. The video was created in response to a frightened pregnant woman who had just received a prenatal Down syndrome diagnosis:

“Dear Future Mom” has received international acclaim. It has been seen by millions of viewers around the world, and the theme of the video is “everyone has a right to be happy.” But it seems this message is considered offensive in France — so offensive, in fact, that the video has been banned from airing on French television.

On November 10th, France’s Counseil d’Etat rejected an appeal to lift the ban on the “Dear Future Mom” video. The ban was originally instituted by the Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel, and was upheld because the video was deemed “inappropriate.” Why? Because the people with Down syndrome in the video, along with their families, were happy and smiling, and this was “likely to disturb the conscience of women who had lawfully made different personal life choices.”

86% of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome prenatally are aborted in France, one of the highest termination rates in the world.

France is the only country to have taken this position on the inspiring “Dear Future Mom” video. And the fight isn’t over; the Lejeune Foundation is taking the case to the European Court for Human Rights, while a Change.org petition launched by the Global Alliance for Disability in Media and Entertainment (GADIM) has already received nearly 2,000 signatures.

“The effect of the decision of the Counseil d’Etat is to discriminate against the capacity for people with Down syndrome to exercise their rights to self-expression and to be factually represented in the media for the individuals that they are and can be,” GADIM writes in the petition. “In particular, it wrongly elevates the mere notion that a person should not be exposed to a troubled conscience over and above realization of the fundamental human rights to non-discrimination, to self-expression and opinion and to full participation by people with Down syndrome on an equal basis with others, as recognized by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons With Disabilities, which was ratified by the French Parliament on 31 December 2009 (the Convention), notably articles 4, 5, 8 and 21.”

In short, this is not only a gross example of discrimination against people with Down syndrome, it is a human rights violation as well as a breach of the convention that the French government agreed to. This ban, in its very essence, lends credence to the idea that the mere public presence of people with Down syndrome, happy and smiling and excited to be alive, could be considered potentially offensive.

It’s no wonder that the Down syndrome abortion rate in France is so astronomical, if this is the outlook on people with Down syndrome and other disabilities: that they are an inconvenience, a burden, something to be hidden away lest they bother any of the “normal” people. Even if people want to argue that women should have the right to abort a baby simply because he has Down syndrome, it does not mean that those same women have the right to ban people with Down syndrome from society.

People with Down syndrome are first and foremost people — human beings that have the same rights as everyone else, and should not be hidden away lest they make close-minded people “uncomfortable.” And their happiness at being alive, their love for their families, is not something that should be used against them, either.

This horrifying move sends a disturbing message. Shame on the Counseil d’Etat.

Question: What's the definition of 'Irony'?

Answer: An organisation like White Ribbon (Australia) supporting abortion while preaching 'Stop the violence against women' and while raking in millions of dollars from tax payers monies and benign fund raising events.

Surely those in White Ribbon have done the math, because 50% of those babies killed by abortion are, wait for it, F - E - M - A - L - E: FEMALE.

Oh, can't you hear White Ribbon's reply to such an idea. "Female? They're not females!"

Guess what? Tell that to expectant parents. That's what ultrasound and 4D technology have been doing for sometime now - particularly the former, showing what sex a child in utero is, and not to mention the child's humanity. Whether a "boy". Or a "girl".

Yet this seems to have escaped the minds of certain individuals in White Ribbon. And a lot at that.

But there is another irony here. Because as research has shown again and again, for the vast majority of women abortion is a violence perpetrated against them. Some call this coercion. Others say, forced. However, White Ribbon doesn't get any of this. Or simply doesn't want to. Why?

As nurse Debbie Garratt rightly commented on her blog a few months ago :

"White Ribbon are appearing more and more like other organisations, full of rhetoric and politics, toeing the ideological line with total and complete disregard for women at all."

Yes, White Ribbon have certainly come a long way since starting up in Australia 13 years ago. They are now unashamedly, unequivocally, and very publicly, pro-abortion - all the way up to birth, which always means further - as hundreds of babies survive the abortion every year but are then simply left to die - or are out rightly killed.

Surely this must be the ultimate violence against babies. Ripping them apart in the womb. With half of these poor little children, as I mentioned before, are female.

And still another irony, and we can find many, is that the overwhelming butchers (Ooopps!!! I mean abortionists) who perform these killings on our fair shores are, now wait for it, M-E-N: MEN. (To fully grasp the moon-beam foolishness of this, one only needs to read White Ribbon's website or posters, especially the ones about 'BE A WHITE RIBBON MAN'.)

Here is a quote from White Ribbon (from their own Twitter site; but likely they will block you if you tell anyone, if they haven't already removed it as this post went up):

Also scroll down and see supporters for Pro Choice Queensland which is advocating for full term abortion https://prochoiceqld.org.au/about/

Bear in mind that in Tasmania and Victoria where abortion is legal through every stage of pregnancy, a person can’t even offer help and support to a pregnant woman within 150 metres of these bloody killing centres. If they do happen to wander over the blue line, it's up to a year in prison and/or a $10,000 fine. That's the reality.

But these are all a part of the abortion law reforms which White Ribbon are eager to flag, and particularly at the moment in Queensland.

So here we have it folks, White Ribbon is not white after all, rather a spotted red colour: blood red.

Report: Family in China hides to escape forced abortion of third child

In an email this week, Women’s Rights Without Frontiers president Reggie Littlejohn stated that the BBC went undercover in China on the one year anniversary of the ‘relaxing’ of China’s One-Child Policy to find out if forced abortion is still a threat for families illegally pregnant with a third child.

The BBC’s report details the fact that despite the Chinese government’s decision to ‘relax’ its One-Child Policy into a Two-Child Policy, forced abortion is still very much a part of the country’s ‘family planning’ efforts.

Littlejohn reports that a Chinese father told BBC’s Beijing reporter John Sudworth that “[a] third baby is not allowed, so we are renting a home away from our village.

The local government carries out pregnancy examinations every three months. If we weren’t in hiding, they would have forced us to have an abortion.” And yet, the father noted, “When I look at our new baby, I feel happy.” Littlejohn writes that this family is “caught between the joy of holding their new baby in their arms and the fear of what will happen to them when they come out of hiding.”

If the family is discovered or comes out of hiding, they could face an exorbitant fine, says Littlejohn, “as large as ten times their annual salary” and could lose their jobs. Most families do not have the ability to pay such a fine.

Born at 25 Weeks Little Coeli Beat the Odds. Her Parents Refused to Let Her Die

Little Coeli Zielinski weighed less than 2 pounds when she was born almost 15 weeks early. Doctors predicted that she had a 50-50 chance of surviving and more than likely would have disabilities.

But the little Oregon girl defied the odds, and now is a happy, healthy 3-year-old child. She also has become a familiar face in the fight against late-term abortions in Oregon.

Live Action News reports when Merissa Zielinski was 25 weeks pregnant with Coeli, she began to bleed. Her husband, Brian, rushed her to the hospital where doctors soon discovered that Merissa had dilated to six centimeters.

Here’s more from the report:

Coeli was breech and extremely fragile, weighing in at less than two pounds. “We had many wonderful doctors coming in and out of the room, with one ‘bad egg.’” Merissa says. “The ‘bad’ doctor recommended that I just push Coeli out and let her pass away because the chances were high that she would experience disabilities, and, he cautioned me, it would be easier on MY body to not have the classical c-section that would be required.

“I remember just looking at him, stunned, and then I looked over at Brian who stood next to my bed. He didn’t hesitate. He just said, ‘No,’ to the doctor, then he looked at me and said, ‘We’re giving this baby every chance possible.’

“I’ve thought about that moment a lot over the years, and I’m devastated for the mothers who haven’t made the same choice — whether it be from shock, fear, or just not having someone stand by them. It’s scary how enticing the doctor’s words were: It will be better for YOUR body, it will be better for your future children.”

Coeli spent three months in the neonatal intensive care unit before her parents were allowed to take her home. During those months, the Zielinskis heard doctors tell them about a number of different disabilities that their daughter could have.

Leaked Email: Hillary Clinton Will be More Pro-Abortion Than Obama, Will Force Christians to Fund Abortions

More emails released by WikiLeaks concerning the email account of Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta reveal that Hillary Clinton would be even more of an abortion advocate than President Barack Obama.

The new email released today has a top adviser to Hillary Clinton talking about her intimate discussions with top officials from the Planned Parenthood abortion businesses and its attempt to dismantle the Helms Amendment, which prohibits forcing taxpayers to fund abortions in other countries.

The email makes it clear that the Obama Administration was seeking to weaken the pro-life law to allow taxpayer funding of abortion in certain circumstances but was attempting to provide a very modest measure of protection for faith-based groups that did not want to be required to pay for abortions.

In the email from Jennifer Klein, a Georgetown law professor who currently advises Clinton, to Podesta, Klein makes it clear that providing conscience protections for faith-based groups is “a problem, as a matter of substance and also as a matter of politics” for Clinton.

The Clinton advisor makes it clear that Hillary Clinton opposes such a policy. In other words Hillary Clinton would favor dismantling the Helms Amendment and providing absolutely no protection for faith-based organizations or citizens who don’t want to be a party to paying for promoting a referring for abortions.

Miracle Baby Was Born Twice: Removed From the Womb to Correct Tumor Then Returned

Modern medical technology is doing wonderful things to help save babies’ lives before they are born. Recently, doctors in Texas saved an unborn baby girl from a life-threatening tumor by performing surgery on her while she was still in the womb.

CNN reports Margaret Boemer of Plano, Texas discovered something was wrong with her unborn daughter during her 16-week pregnancy scan.

“They saw something on the scan, and the doctor came in and told us that there was something seriously wrong with our baby and that she had a sacrococcygeal teratoma,” she said in an interview shared by Texas Children’s Hospital. “And it was very shocking and scary, because we didn’t know what that long word meant or what diagnosis that would bring.”

Sacrococcygeal teratoma is a life-threatening condition where a tumor grows on the unborn baby’s coccyx, or tailbone.

Dr. Darrell Cass, co-director of Texas Children’s Fetal Center and associate professor of surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College Medicine, explained the tumor is dangerous because it takes away blood from the baby as it grows.

SUPPORT LIFENEWS! If you like this pro-life article, please help LifeNews.com with a donation!

“And in some instances, the tumor wins and the heart just can’t keep up and the heart goes into failure and the baby dies,” Cass said.

Boemer said some doctors suggested that she have an abortion, but she wanted to give her daughter a chance at life.

“At 23 weeks, the tumor was shutting her heart down and causing her to go into cardiac failure, so it was a choice of allowing the tumor to take over her body or giving her a chance at life,” the mother said. “It was an easy decision for us: We wanted to give her life.”

When doctors operated on the baby girl at almost 24 weeks of pregnancy, the tumor was almost as large as she was, according to the report.

FALSE: Hillary Clinton Claimed China “Used” to Force Women to Have Abortions. It Still Does

At last night’s presidential debate, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton made clear where they stand on abortion. Clinton reiterated her support for legalized abortion through all nine months, including partial-birth abortions, while Trump promised to appoint pro-life judges to the U.S. Supreme Court.

In responding to a question about late-term abortions, some may have noticed that Clinton, a pro-abortion Democrat, briefly mentioned the problem of forced abortions in China.

This is what Clinton said: “You know, I’ve had a great honor of traveling across the world on behalf of our country. I’ve been to countries where governments either forced women to have abortions like they used to do in China or forced women to bear children like they used to do in Romania.”

The problem with Clinton’s statement is that she used the past tense to indicate that forced abortions are not happening in China anymore. Human rights advocates say they still are occurring.

Started in 1980, China’s pro-abortion One Child Policy has resulted in severe human rights abuses including forced abortions. Family planning officials frequently jail couples who refuse to comply, sentence them to house arrest or labor camps, revoke jobs or governmental support, use physical harassment or violence and often target other family members.

Last year, China announced that it was ending its abusive One Child Policy in favor of a more permissive two-child limit. This could have been the reason Clinton referred to forced abortions in the past tense. However, many believe the new two-child policy has not stopped forced abortions.

Reggie Littlejohn, one of the top human rights activists exposing the gendercide that takes place in China through her organization Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, said the new policy is little different than the One Child Policy.

“Couples will still have to have a birth permit for the first and the second child, or they may be subject to forced abortion,” Littlejohn said. “The core of the One Child Policy is not whether the number of children the government allows. It’s the fact that the government is setting a limit on children, and enforcing this limit coercively. That will not change under a two-child policy. The One Child Policy does not need to be modified. It needs to be abolished.”

NORWAY 19th OCT 2016

Norway may become the next “abortion tourism” spot for women who are carrying twins.

This week, the Norwegian Ministry of Health ruled that foreign women pregnant with twins or greater multiples can come to the country to selectively abort unborn babies — even if the baby is perfectly healthy, according to The Local, a Norwegian news outlet.

Officials expect the ruling will prompt more women from Sweden and Denmark, where such abortions are restricted, to travel to Norway for abortions, according to the report. Abortions are legal through 12 weeks of pregnancy in Norway.

“All women, regardless of whether they are Norwegian or foreign women residing in Norway have the same right to abortion and fetal reduction, ” health official Torunn Janbu told the news outlet.

Here’s more from the report:

According to NRK, several women from other Nordic countries had already contacted Norwegian hospitals about having the procedure.

Lawyers at Norway’s Department of Justice ruled in February that selective reduction procedures should be treated no differently under Norwegian law than any other abortion, and should therefore be legal up until the end of the 12th week of pregnancy. …

The decision went against the advice of many doctors, who fear that the procedure carries risks for the health of both the mother and the remaining fetus.

“We have not found any medical benefit from this, ” Dr Birgitte Heiberg Kahrs, a specialist in fetal medicine at St Olav’s Hospital in Oslo. “On the contrary, it exposes the second child in the womb to danger as the abortion risk increases.”

The decision may seem radical, but U.S. and Canadian laws are even more liberal. While Norway allows abortions up to 12 weeks for any reason, many American states allow women to abort their unborn babies up to 20 weeks of pregnancy or even later. Because of Roe v. Wade, a woman can abort an unborn baby for any reason or no reason at all up until viability in the U.S.

The reason for the abortion does not matter under U.S. and Canadian law. If a woman is carrying a girl in her womb and she wants a boy, she can have an abortion. If the unborn child has a cleft lip or Down syndrome, the mother can abort. If the mother simply does not want to parent twins, she can choose to abort one of her unborn children.

Friend of Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger Ran a Concentration Camp Killing Blacks

For the past 100 years, Planned Parenthood has centered its work around one hugely flawed, unspoken belief that not all human beings are equal.

It began with the group’s founder, Margaret Sanger, a eugenicist who promoted sterilization and birth control to “weed out” human beings who the eugenics movement deemed “unfit.” Today, Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in the U.S., killing approximately 320, 000 unborn human lives every year.

As Planned Parenthood celebrates its 100th birthday on Sunday, pro-lifers are responding with reminders about the abortion chain’s roots in discrimination. In a column for The Stream, pro-life filmmaker Jason Jones and John Zmirak exposed one of the more horrific details about Planned Parenthood’s past – its connections to Nazi Germany and the Holocaust.

They wrote:

One eugenics expert, Eugen Fischer, whom Sanger featured as a speaker at a population conference she organized, had already run a concentration camp — in German-ruled Southwest Africa, before World War I, where he murdered, starved and experimented on helpless native Africans. It was Fischer’s book on eugenics, which Hitler had read in prison, that convinced Hitler of its central importance. Another longtime official of Planned Parenthood, Garrett Hardin, had a decades-long track record of serving in eugenics organizations, and as late as the 1980s was calling for mass forced sterilization of Americans as a necessary solution to the “population problem.”

The same people served on the boards of the American Eugenics Society and Sanger’s organizations for decades, and they worked closely together on countless projects …

These included hormonal birth control testing on poor, rural women in Puerto Rico, and legislation to force sterilize or castrate people accused of being “feeble minded” or “shiftless, ” according to the report.

Later, they added:

One of Sanger’s regular authors in The Birth Control Review wrote in a U.S. newspaper in the 1930s defending the forced sterilization of such mixed-race children, for the sake of Germany’s “health.” …

One author who served on Sanger’s board and published regularly in The Birth Control Review was Lothrop Stoddard, a high official of the Massachusetts Ku Klux Klan, whose book The Rising Tide of Color Against White World Supremacy, Adolf Hitler cited in Mein Kampf as “my bible.”

Today, Planned Parenthood downplays Sanger’s involvement in the eugenics movement by claiming that she only was going along with the popular thinking of the day. They claim Sanger got involved only to make connections and gain support for her own birth control cause.

Jones and Zmirak said this simply is not true.

“The birth control movement and the eugenics movement were the same movement — to the point where Margaret Sanger twice tried to merge her organization with major eugenics groups, ” they wrote.

Angela Franks, PhD, who has done extensive research on Sanger, said the Planned Parenthood founder believed strongly in eugenic principles. Throughout her life, Sanger advocated for birth control and sterilization in ways that devalued certain groups of human beings, Franks explained. Like many eugenicists of her time, Sanger basically reduced people to their genetic makeup, lumping people into “good genes” and “bad genes” groups, Franks continued. It’s something the abortion industry still does today, though in a less obvious way, when it fights laws that protect unborn babies with disabilities from abortion.

Poland abortion laws: Ruling party to revive ban despite mass strike by women and defeat in parliament

'We will strive to ensure that even in pregnancies when a child is sure to die, strongly deformed, women end up giving birth so that the child can be baptised, buried, and have a name,' Jaroslaw Kaczynski says

The ruling party leader in Poland has said his politicians will return to the drawing board in their efforts to tighten the country’s anti-abortion laws.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski said his Law and Justice party (PiS) aimed to further restrict legislation despite the resounding victory for people power.

Poland’s parliament rejected the party’s draft law for a near-blanket abortion ban after protests and strike action across the nation.

Abortions are illegal in the Catholic country unless the woman’s life is threatened, she is pregnant as a result of a crime or if the foetus is incurably ill. The draft law sought to remove the latter two exceptions.

Mr Kaczynski said in an interview with the Polish PAP news agency that he did not agree with all of the draft law, but said: “We will strive to ensure that even in pregnancies which are very difficult, when a child is sure to die, strongly deformed, women end up giving birth so that the child can be baptised, buried, and have a name."

Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz CEO Cecile Richards Doubles Salary to Almost $1 Million

According to Planned Parenthood’s IRS Form 990, president Cecile Richards pocketed a whopping $957, 952 in annual take-home pay in fiscal year 2014. That figure represents a dramatic leap from FY 2013, even compared to the significant raises the abortion boss receives with each passing year.

The previous year, Richards received a $67, 000 salary increase, bringing her income close to $600, 000 – up from $523, 616 in 2012. In 2011, she made $420, 153. In 2009, Richards made about $353, 000. Thus, within a few short years, Cecile Richards’ salary ballooned from well below half a million to nearly one million dollars. Data for the most recent years is not yet available.

And paying million dollar salaries does not break the bank for an abortion behemoth which boasts a cool quarter-billion in net assets and rakes in half a billion from taxpayer pockets every year. What’s an extra million bucks? Well, when the revenue is coming from abortion sales, an extra million bucks represents human lives. About two thousand of them, to be exact. ...

The average cost of an abortion procedure, according to the best available figures, is at least $500. Thus, if abortion fees went exclusively to Richards’ salary until her annual $957, 952 were met, 1, 916 babies would die to fund her paycheck.

But the reality is that Planned Parenthood’s abortion profits are spread across many other bigwig paychecks, celebrity events, private jets, extravagant fundraisers, and, of course, endless marketing campaigns. Thus, Planned Parenthood doesn’t stop at killing a couple thousand babies a year. The abortion business ends the lives of 323, 999 preborn children (yes, nearly a third of a million) per year. That’s 887 abortions per day; 37 abortions per hour; one abortion every 97 seconds.

Ben Shapiro destroys abortion arguments: ‘No one has a right’ to kill another human being

Actress Olivia Wilde recently sent shockwaves across the country when she appeared in a video, pregnant, saying she would be voting for abortion in November because she’s “literally about to have a baby.” According to Wilde, abortion is a “basic human right.” People were predictably shocked and disgusted, because the idea of a pregnant woman using her preborn baby as an excuse to shill for abortion is abhorrent. It didn’t take long for someone to come up with an incredible response.

Ben Shapiro took on Wilde’s comments for a segment on “The Ben Shapiro Show, ” where he utterly destroyed every pro-abortion argument that the abortion lobby likes to use.

Shapiro didn’t shy away from slamming Wilde.

“This is about as perverse a notion as I could possibly imagine, ” he said. “That as you’re about to have your child, you’re thinking, ‘boy, wouldn’t it be great if I could still kill this thing?'”

Shapiro then warned viewers about what they were about to see: “This is going to be mildly graphic, ” he said, “but it’s important, because I’m sick of euphemisms. It’s not aborting a fetus; it’s not getting rid of a ball of tissue.”

Wilde and abortion supporters want women to be allowed to have an abortion anytime they want, even moments before birth. They do so in the name of “human rights, ” which Shapiro completely dismisses, saying no one has the “right” to kill another human being. He used an awful picture of one of abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s victims to drive the point home.

As Shapiro pointed out, these are fully-formed children. Abortion kills these children out of convenience.

“The idea that you get to murder a kid… no one has a ‘right to choose’ this, ” he said. “No one. No one. No one has a ‘right’ to choose this — that’s a baby — you don’t get to kill it just because it’s convenient to you. You don’t have a right to say, ‘It’s my decision to decide where and when and how to have the baby.’ That’s an individual human being, and if that baby were outside the womb and you stuck a knife through its chest, you’d be charged with first-degree murder. You kill it in the womb, and we call it a ‘human right.’ That’s not a ‘human right, ’ because that’s a human and that human doesn’t have any rights because you just decided its rights are less important than your right to your own convenience.”

“Despicable, ” Shapiro added. “Despicable.” He then showed a graph that outlines the development of a preborn child:

Let’s play a game, leftists. It’s called: when is it okay to kill this baby?

Oct 8, 2016  By Bill Muehlenberg

EIGHT YEARS AGO  the Australian state of Victoria passed one of the most liberal (read: most anti-baby) abortion laws in the world. So for eight years now we have been marching for the babies. Today was another chance for thousands of Victorians – and others – to tell the world we care about babies, and that it is wrong to murder thousands of them every year.

A beautiful Melbourne afternoon made it a great day to march, and having no protestors there trying to break up the rally, shout us down, and show how ‘loving’ they are was also a great plus. Perhaps it occurred to them that all the bad publicity they get each year when they engage in their frenetic and ugly activities was proving to be counterproductive, or they were at another rally in the city taking place at the same time.

There was a large police presence at our march, as there has been for the past few years, which may also be part of the reason why the protestors stayed away this year. The police have been doing a superlative job lately in keeping them away from the thousands of peaceful prolife marchers, which includes plenty of children, parent and grandparents.

In fact an article in this morning’s Herald Sun spoke about the police presence at both rallies:

Police will be out in force in Melbourne CBD today with two separate protests planned in the city. The Equal Love Rally for Marriage Equality will be held at the State Library of Victoria between 1pm and 3pm. Anti-abortion protesters will also be staging a demonstration in the city this afternoon.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said: “Those in the Melbourne CBD today might see a larger than normal police presence due to two scheduled protests this afternoon. While there are no expected threats, the extra police will be on hand to ensure community safety and so visitors to the city can go about their business with as few disruptions as possible.”

But wait a minute, notice how even this short piece has all the usual bias and prejudice. Did they call the other rally an ‘anti-marriage and anti-family’ event as it really was? No, they used the very name provided by the organisers.

Yet for our march they called it an ‘anti-abortion’ action, instead of what it really was: “March for the Babies: Equality for the Unborn”. So once again the media allowed the secular left to set the agenda on all these matters. So I was quite interested to see what the six o’clock news would have to say about the two rallies.

I flicked back and forth between channels 7 and 9, and could find nothing! There would be good reasons for this it seems. As to our march, the media does not want to give our side any airtime. They do not want the truth about the slaughter of the innocents to get out into the general public – so they suppress as much of it as they can.

It seems the only reason they broadcasted it in past years was because the protestors were there. The media thrives on controversy, and on putting their own spin on it. So in past rallies we might have had 50 protestors screaming their lungs out seeking to cause as much turmoil as they could, and 4-5000 peaceful pro-lifers, but the evening news would run with a story like this: ‘Anti-abortion protestors clashed with pro-choice supporters”.

So there was no coverage at all it seems. But why did they also not seem to cover the ‘homosexual marriage’ rally? Well, there might be a very good reason for that as well: I went to an online Melbourne homosexual site to see how they reported it, and they had pics of the event. Judging by those photos, perhaps only 25 or 30 people showed up! No wonder they did not want to run with a story like that.

If maybe at least 50 people or so showed up, the media could have put their usual spin on it: ‘Hundreds rally for equal love, blah blah…’ So no major media coverage that I could see on either one.

But let me get back to our rally. As usual, we met at the Treasury Gardens, and then marched peacefully and cheerfully with balloons and banners to Parliament House. Liberal MP Bernie Finn again led the proceedings, with three main speakers: MLC Dr Rachel Carling-Jenkins, Dr Roland von Marburg, and Kay Painter from the US.

All gave terrific talks, reminding us of why we march each year: because we love the babies and we love the women who so often are being forced to have them killed. And Kay told of a young American gal who worked all year to save money so she could make the trip just to be with us at the rally this year. She gave us a brief greeting. Now that is commitment. Yet some Australians think travelling 50 kilometres is too much!

After a rousing singing of Amazing Grace we then marched some more – this time, as we did at least once before – to the infamous abortion mill in East Melbourne. This time however things were a bit different. While in the past we could go right up to this institution of death, this time we were prevented from doing so.

You see, another evil act of Parliament passed under the Dan Andrews’ Labor Government was a diabolical buffer zone law which actually prevents all concerned pro-lifers from coming within 150 metres of this killing fields. Imagine that: the state government actively promotes and encourages the killing of little unborn babies in this facility – and others like it – but has made it illegal to go anywhere near it.

Even if you just want to silently and peacefully pray there, or offer women some loving care if they want it, the state has said this is verboten. So, baby killing is fine, but loving women and their babies is out of bounds. How perverted is that?

Let me close by sharing the story of a good friend of mine who was at the rally. He had a very interesting conversation with a lone pro-abort while near the East Melbourne abortuary, and it is well worth sharing here:

This afternoon I had the satisfaction of taking the smarmy grin off a Sex Party supporter’s face at March For the Babies exactly 150 metres from the East Melbourne abortion mill. Standing a few metres from me, he tried to look mock outraged at the comparison of abortion to Auschwitz that Bernie Finn made during a speech to the crowd… and something inside me snapped.

I have had more than enough of people who want to effectively facilitate learning nothing from history, especially when I have actually walked the railway line inside Camp II all the way up to where the gas chambers were filled with people and Zyklon B, and the ovens ran hot. A major reason the Holocaust happened was that some people had convinced themselves that these people weren’t human – exactly the same today as people convince themselves the unborn are not deserving of full human rights.

So I stopped filming Bernie and walked up to this guy and asked him why he laughed at the comparison. I told him I saw him laugh and I wanted to know why he thought that was funny. He just tried to wave me away but I made sure he remembered he couldn’t answer the question. He was snickering just a few seconds before, but now didn’t have the guts to tell me why. I was angry but I didn’t shout at him or anything, but he sure was whining to police when I walked away. Poor snowflake thought I ‘got in his face’, when really I only went within about a metre of him and confronted him with his own shallow morality.

I have to admit, my response even surprised myself, but I couldn’t take this guy’s inward mockery and flat out evil any more. Honestly, I cannot adequately convey just how much I would like to formally debate any of these leftist clowns one-on-one, especially on this topic. The unborn are human, anything else as a primary consideration on this topic is twisting truth. And on the way home, how chilling the realisation was to me that the line of police stopping the protest at the buffer zone boundary were empowered by politicians in power who thought just like that regressive Sex Party extremist.

I was born in East Melbourne to German parents who grew up in the Nazi era and saw much of it firsthand. Yeah, I think my patience wears a little thin now and then on some things, especially basic human rights for life and freedom. Did you enjoy our glorious spring day? About 20,000 Victorians annually never get to see just one.

Rise in Queensland babies surviving late-term abortions, figures show

The number of babies surviving late-term abortions have increased in Queensland, figures released by Health Minister Cameron Dick have shown.

In 2015, 27 babies of five month's gestation survived, only to later die after not receiving life-saving treatment.

The information was released by Mr Dick this week after he was asked a Question on Notice by Member for Cleveland Dr Mark Robinson in May.

Mr Dick also provided the number of 'live birth' abortions for the last 10 years, which shows a steady increase of those that survive.

Queensland Health confirmed that in such cases, life-saving care is not rendered to the baby after a decision to terminate is made and it is left to perish in the clinic.

"Once a decision to terminate is made, that is the outcome in accordance with the family's wishes," a Queensland Health spokesperson said.

Amanda Bradley from Children by Choice said it was often a hard decision to make and may be because of a foetal abnormality.

"Once they are given that diagnosis they [the woman] will sit down with the clinicians looking after them and their other support mechanisms, potentially social workers or counsellors, and they will be given good quality information on which to make a decision," she said.

"The medical practitioners will offer them the information and discuss what the best clinical decision might be."

Mr Dick said such procedures were done in accordance to the Queensland Maternity and Neonatal Clinical Guideline: Therapeutic termination of pregnancy .

"There are almost always severe circumstances leading to a small number of women who choose to terminate a pregnancy after 20 weeks' gestation," he said.

"The number of termination procedures where babies are born with signs of life at this stage is a very small proportion of the total live births each year in Queensland.

"Care of a baby following birth is individualised to the specific circumstances, and informed by the choices of the family. In line with clinical guidelines, a range of pre and post terminal cares are provided.

"These may include physiological support of the baby to relieve potential for suffering, and psychological support for families including bereavement counselling."

Pro-life group calls for inquiry

Teresa Martin from Cherish Life Queensland said the revelation was shocking and called for an inquiry into the abortion industry in Queensland.

"There is also grave concern about the medical staff who have had to be part of this procedure, perhaps even against their own consciences," she said.

Last month,Independent Queensland MP Rob Pyne put forward a private members' bill to completely legalise abortion in Queensland .

Abortion has been prohibited since 1899, but permissible if there is serious danger to the mother's life or her physical or mental health.

Queensland senator Larissa Waters, who has been campaigning for abortion to be removed from the criminal code, says decriminalising abortion would lead to less late-term terminations.

*This copy has been modified to remove a statement that babies were "not rendered care and allowed to die". Comments from the Minister regarding the physiological care offered were added.
